Up Block Pramukh Elections: BJP-SP Workers Clash At Many Places, Firing In Sitapur, Uproar In Shravasti – There is a stir in Uttar Pradesh regarding the elections for the Block Pramukh Elections. During the filing of nominations on Thursday, there was tons of uproar in several districts of the state. In many districts including Sitapur, Shravasti, Ambedkar Nagar, there have been clashes, scuffles and even firing, many of us were also injured in these different incidents.
Firing in Sitapur, three injured
Round firing was done during nomination on Thursday in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh. There was a ruckus between the 2 parties over non-receipt of nomination papers. consistent with the knowledge , supporters of BJP and independent candidates clashed, after which firing was done. In this, a complete of three people including a youth are injured, who have been referred to Lucknow.
During the nomination, all this ruckus happened ahead of the police, after which there was a stampede within the block. Angry supporters have now blocked NH 24. Please tell that this whole matter is of Kasmanda block in Kamlapur police headquarters area of Sitapur.
Clash between SP workers and police in Shravasti
There was tons of ruckus in Shravasti over the enrollment letter. There was tons of uproar by the workers of the Samajwadi Party for not getting the nomination papers here. Samajwadi Party candidates and their supporters were trying to travel to the block premises of Ikauna during this point , but the police tried to prevent them.
Meanwhile, there was a fierce clash between the 2 sides. The workers allege that the Samajwadi Party candidate wasn’t given the nomination paper, after which they raised slogans.
The atmosphere has deteriorated such a lot that police, PAC need to be deployed. The gathering of leaders has started here and former MLA’s, former district presidents have also reached the spot. Now many SP workers are arrested during this incident which happened in Ikauna block of Shravasti district.
There was a ruckus in these places too…
In Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, there was tons of ruckus during the nomination on Thursday. Here an effort was made to grab the paper from the hands of former BSP minister Lalji Verma. BSP leader has made this serious allegation on BJP candidate Tejashwi Jaiswal. After which there was a ruckus in both the edges , now the police and district administration have reached here. This incident happened in Tanda block of Ambedkar Nagar.
Similarly, supporters of Samajwadi Party and Bharatiya Janata Party clashed within the Teliani block of Fatehpur. The Samajwadi Party candidate has alleged that BJP supporters have assaulted him, all this happened within the presence of the district administration. Efforts are being made by the administration to regulate the atmosphere.
The time for filing nominations for the block chief elections is from 11 am to 3 pm on July 8. While the polling for the block pramukh is to be held on July 10.
